Knutsford Golf Club

The varied and challenging course was originally laid out in 1891 within the boundaries of the current Tatton Park, close to the main drive through the park.  In 1909, it was relocated to its present position adjoining the park. 

Set in mature Cheshire parkland, the holes present varied challenges.  The first two holes are fine par 4s alongside the deer fence which separates the course from Tatton Park, offering views of the mere and the deer.  The 4th is a charming dog-leg, with a border of mature trees for interest.  The 8th is a testing par 4, driving over ponds.  There are separate 9th and 18th holes to finish.  

The Course is maintained to a high standard throughout the year.

Visitors are welcome to play at Knutsford Golf Club though tee times may be restricted on Wednesdays and at weekends. The Club does not operate a formal tee-booking system, so please contact the Secretary or the Steward beforehand to check that the desired tee-time is available.   Ask for details of any seasonal deals or packages.  Handicap certificates are requested

Visiting Societies and corporate days, including golf and meal packages, can be arranged. Thursday afternoons are a popular choice, though other days may be available. Please contact the Secretary or Steward for further information.
