With 50 different shaft options and 27 different club head options there is no better way to get the correct set of Mizuno Golf Irons to suit you game.
With the introduction of the new Shaft Optimizer, getting the correct shaft out of 50 is vital. Choosing the shaft is one of the most important aspects of club fitting as the shaft will affect distance, ball flight, spin and trajectory. The new Mizuno Shaft Optimizer measures club head speed, tempo, shaft tow down, shaft kick and release factor during swing. By measuring club head speed and tempo you can determine the ideal flex and weight of the shaft. taking all the measurements into account the Shaft Optimizer will pin-point and recommend the ideal shaft for your swing to deliver maximum performance.
Once your shaft has been recommended the system then looks at the head type. There are 27 different head options to choose from so it is vital to get the correct one so that you can get the most out of your game. The fitter will recommend certain head types after assessing your swing, contact of the ball, consistency and handicap. We then test the different recommended heads until the the system pin-points and recommends the correct one.
When shaft option and headtype is deteremined the traditional static custom fit measurements are carried out. This provides you with the correct lie angle, loft angle, shaft length, and grip size. The final outcome will be a custom fitting that has provided you with the correct shaft, head type and measurements to enhance your performance and provide you with the correct set of irons to suit your game.

What Is Custom Fitting?
Custom Fitting is the process by which golf equipment is tailored to an individual's unique needs. Custom Fitting can be used to achieve many different aims;
- Adapting to a players physical dimensions (taller / shorter / large hands etc)
- Reducing the impact of a consistent swing fault
- To encourage the correct technique
- To eliminate a specific shot
Who Needs Custom Fitting?
At its more technical level Custom Fitting can build low handicap golfers and professionals a more efficient swing with shafts fitted to their swing speeds and tempo.
Higher handicap players can use adjustments in lie angles and shafts lengths to overcome repetitive swing faults. Improvers and beginners need well fitted equipment to encourage the correct set up - the foundation for a solid game.
Ask Yourself These 6 Important Questions In Relation To Custom Fitting:
1) Do you agree that all golfers vary in height?
2) Do you agree that all golfers vary in fitness?
3) Do you agree that we all swing the club at different speeds?
4) Do you agree that the size of our hands vary?
5) Do you agree that our ages are different?
6) Do you agree that our abilitys vary?
If you agree, our advice is never to purchase any golf equipment without being custom fitted!
Our store has fully qualified PGA Golf Professionals and qualified club fitters. We are open 7-days a week offering you guaranteed professional service and advice.
Listed below are some major faults created from incorrect fitted golf equipment, all these can easily be corrected by having your clubs custom fitted.
Fault- Lie angle too flat on your irons creating the toe of the golf club to dig deeper into the ground at impact, causing the club face to open creating a slice.
Fault- Lie angle to upright on your irons creating the reverse, the heel digs deeper into the ground at impact, causing the club face to close creating a hook.
Fault- Shaft too stiff on your clubs creating loss of distance and a lower ball flight with a slice
Fault- Shaft too soft on your clubs creating an excessive high ball flight and a hook
Fault- Wrong grip size on your clubs which makes your hands to work excessively or not enough
All of the above may sounds very complicated. Let us assure you its not! Its simply vital that you receive guaranteed professional service and honest advice.

Important Information Regarding Custom Fitted Golf Equipment
For your assurance! All of the custom fitted golf equipment ordered from Clubhouse Golf Direct is specially ordered and made to your exact requirement. Your order is placed with our suppliers and built to the exact specification required.
We strongly recommend that no alteration to the lie angles are made to any new irons purchased, other than by the manufacture!
The reason for this is that most of the top branded manufactures have stocks of heads that have been specially made to either a flat, standard or up-right angles. The problem with altering lie angles on new clubs is that during the process of alteration the metal or chrome can easily crease causing problems at a later date that can lead to the manufactures warranty being not honoured!
